우리 연구실은 로봇이 복잡하고 다양한 실세계 환경에서 스스로 판단하고 동작할 수 있도록 돕는 실용적인 알고리즘과 시스템 개발에 집중합니다. 특히, 고도화된 "공간 지능(Spatial Intelligence)"을 통해 로봇의 인식 능력을 강화하고, 이를 최신 AI 기술 기반의 의사결정 및 행동 계획과 통합함으로써 실제 물리적 공간에서 임무를 완수하는 'Physical AI' 구현에 매진하고 있습니다. 우리는 인식, 판단, 행동의 최적화를 통해 기술적 한계를 극복하고, 차세대 자율 지능형 로봇이 인류의 일상에 가치 있는 변화를 가져올 수 있도록 가능성을 확장해 나갑니다.

Our lab focuses on developing practical algorithms and systems that enable robots to operate autonomously in diverse, real-world environments. By leveraging advanced Spatial Intelligence to sharpen robot perception, we integrate these capabilities with AI-driven decision-making and motion planning to realize 'Physical AI' that solves complex challenges in physical spaces. By optimizing the synergy between perception, reasoning, and action, we aim to expand the potential of next-generation autonomous intelligent robots and redefine the boundaries of what robots can achieve in our daily lives.
